Would a hydrogel screen protector for IPad Pro affect drawing?

Im looking into screen protection and came across hydrogel, my mum had one on her phone when I was a kid and had been looking for something similar ever since.

I will be using my iPad for procreate (drawing) mostly and I wondered if anyone else has ever used one of these screen protectors before with the Apple Pencil.

Does it affect the way the Apple Pencil works?

Are the colours on the screen darkened?

I would suggest you go for a hydrogel protector.

  • The hydrogel screen protectors are extremely thin in breadth. Usually, it does not increase the limit of 0.02mm. This serves as an advantage in the display and offers a crystal clear view since there is hardly any disparity between the screen and the screen protector, thus your apple pencil will work like a charm.
  • The thinness of the material also retains the sensitivity of the touch- one aspect that tempered glasses fail to provide.
