Six month free trial of Apple TV+

I just bought a PS5 and saw that I was entitled to a 6 month free trial of Apple TV+ because of it. I redeemed it, and then it said something about me not having a payment method attached to my apple ID (which was true), so I set that up, and then went back into the Apple TV app, and it doesn't show anywhere that I have my trial active. Did I lose my trial?
