Display not working after updating from Sierra to Mojave 10.14.6

I've recently just updated my MacPro mid-2012 (yes metal-supported) from Sierra (to High Sierra) then to Mojave. I needed to update for software updates that were not supported on OS Sierra

While in Sierra I had 2 of the same Acer monitors connected one via HDMI the other VGA-DVI and a Dell television/monitor via Displayport. All working just fine. While updating to High Sierra, all three monitors were detected and working as expected. HOWEVER now on Mojave the HDMI to one of the Acer monitors and Displayport to the Dell TV still works, BUT the Acer monitor connected via VGA-DVI is no longer detected. If I switch the connection from one Acer monitor to the next it works just fine as well. It's simply the DVI not detecting what's plugged in.

Is there a fix to this??? Is there a way to force the mac to detect the DVI port, or a way to check if it realizes somethings plugged in?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
