Try Muting the Mac:

What happens when you mute the Mac? Do you still get this sound? If not, then it is an issue with the audio, in which case, you'd reset the core audio. To do so, use this command in Terminal:

sudo killall coreaudiod

Are you sure there isn't anything pressing on the keyboard or you haven't got a stuck key?
