Facebook App not allowing access selection

Ive upgraded to an Iphone 12 and am having issues posting photos in the Facebook App.

It brings up access choices (see screenshot) but when clicking on options or 'continue' it doesn't do anything, asif it's frozen?

Gone in to Facebook settings to allow access through there however photos isn't shown (see photo)

Why can't i accept access?
