Apple id
When I go to enter my password for Apple ID, it says incorrect and then shows a different Apple ID. Yet, under settings it is correct. Tech has not been able to fix this.

Where are you trying to enter your Apple ID when you see this? Check the App Store and iTunes Store to see if there are any updates for apps/purchases. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. After deleting the apps, it may be necessary to restart the device/computer before you can download the apps again. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

I’m trying to update an app that I installed. But when I go to update it has another id. I checked “purchases” and it isn’t that.
If the app shows in your Purchases History, try deleting the app, sign out of the App Store, restart the device, and then sign back in so you can download the app again.
