is m1 macbook air naturally smudgy? trued cleaning with just water, but still it does not achieve a clean look

Personally, I use a non-alcohol lens cleaner that I use with my camera lenses and use the black cleaning cloth that Apple used to supply with MacBooks and iMacs.

Just do not press on the screen. Just gently wipe.
