I can’t open my MacBook Air please help me

Your Mac might have forgotten where to start up from, or your data could be corrupted.

Try these steps:

1. Shut down your Mac.
2. Press and hold the Option key as you power on your Mac. Release the key when you can select a Wi-Fi network.
3. If you see a startup disk appear (such as Macintosh HD), hold down the Control key. As you're holding it down, click the circular arrow that appears. This instructs your Mac to always start up from that drive.

If you don't see any startup disks appear, please let me know.

When you started up from macOS Recovery, did you see a spinning globe?

At this point you'll need to erase your internal drive, or take your Mac in for service. To see if your internal drive is still detected, quit the macOS installer and open Disk Utility. Look for an entry named APPLE HDD or APPLE SSD.
