I want to get my mother an iphone but dont know the best way to support her remotely if she has issues. (i live in a different state). How do others handle this?

You can't view your mothers iPhone screen remotely. Is your mother not fully capable of managing her finances, that you are concerned she will run up charges in the App Store? If you are, perhaps an iPhone is not honestly the best option for her. There are other options out there for elderly parents, which may be a safe bet.

I agree with Lobsterghost1! An iPhone can be considered difficult to use for anyone new to the system. Other options will be cheaper also.
