I forgot my Apple ID password. I tried to re- re-set it. When I’m asked to put in my phone number I keep getting an error message iPhone 11

Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
