Transfer files from a MacBook Pro with bad RAM?

I've got a MBP, mid-2015, 13-inch, running Big Sur with 6 GB a memory which my daughter poured water on. Now when I try to start it up, I get the black screen, three loud beeps, and nothing else.

I would like to transfer the files from this old machine to a new machine. Is it possible to use Target Disk Mode to do this? Or mount the old computer as a hard drive on the newer one?

Any suggestions appreciated.

You can try putting the laptop into Target Disk Mode to see what happens.

You can remove the SSD and put the SSD into an OWC Envoy Pro Enclosure to connect it to another Mac.
