iPod SIM
Is there any space for a SIM card in the iPod touch?
Or is there any way I can register a phone # on my iPod ??

No. IPods do not have sim cards as that would essentially make them iPhones.
If you need an iPod with a sim card get an iPhone.
If you need to make or receive cellular phone calls, get an iPhone. The iPod is not an iPhone.
