Wrong Flagged E-mail Counts

Running Mac Mini M1 Big Sur 11.5.2, MBA M1 Big Sur 11.5.2 and iPhone 12 iOS 14.7.1 all on same Apple ID and iCloud enabled on all devices using only iCloud as Mail Server.


Flagged E-mail Counts from iPhone is correct. The other two devices, the flagged e-Mail counts are always off. That being, as example, count on computers showing 5 Red and 3 Green. The exact number of E-mail in general is correct on all devices it is only the Flagged Count that is Off.


Have done the Rebuild from within Apple Mail Application on the computers but the Flagged Count is always off.


Not a big issue - just an annoyance more than anything else.


Any pointers ??

Further actions taken.


1 - With both computers on and Apple Mail as active and on-line.

2 - Took both computers & Apple Mail to Off-Line and removed any Flags from any e-mails.

3 - Open iPhone as on-line and Apple Mail as active and removed all Flags from emails.

4 - On iPhone, re-Flagged some e-mails.

5 - On Both computers and Apple Mail and Took Apple Mail as On-Line

6 - Waited for things to sync and the Flagged issue remained as original Annoyance.


Starting to think there might be a reportable issue here ??
