how much for fixing fan noise with error code PFM 006.

My computer got a fan noise, after shutting it down couple times and following all indications noise don’t go away, I need laptop for college so it is annoying to have the fan noise in the middle of a quiet classroom. I ran some diagnosis and shows the error code PFM 006. I’m wondering how much apple charges for fixing this and if someone recommends do it themselves. I have built other computers with my husband helps but I’m not very crafty in engineering
