In my research I believe the iPhone 12's dim when they get warm, correct? This is some sort of safety feature that cannot be disabled? I live in Southern California and m phone dims CONSTANTLY when I am outside, and it actually has become my own safety issue because it dims so much that I can barely see Google Maps when driving! Is there a work-around or am I once again at the mercy of Apple's no way out policies?

We see you have concerns about iPhone 12 display dimming. Have you turned off auto-brightness. If not, try that by Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Auto-Brightness: Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

I’ve had the same problem. Everything I’ve read seems to indicate that it is an iPhone 12 series problem. I’d like to find out if any of the 12 or 13 models don’t have this problem. I’ve been using iPhones since iPhone 4s and I’ve never had this issue before.
