iPhone XS Max --I can't remove my sim card

I am trading in my iPhone xsMax and can't get the sim care tray to open...any suggestions?

Thanks but it's stuck.. I did all the was suggested but no luck, I guess I will need to stop by the genius bar to get help.. aargh.
