Mark season as watched in Paramount+ channel

I've watched NCIS: New Orleans on other services. I now have the Paramount+ channel through the TV app. I'd like to mark all episodes of that entire show as watched so only new ones show up in the What to Watch list when they start airing again.

Unfortunately, I've only found a way to mark a single episode as watched as opposed to either the entire season or the entire show. Please tell me that I don't have to go through each episode and mark it as watched individually...

I don't recall which one. But I reproduced it: from the Paramount+ channel, I just added Blood & Treasure (which I've never watched before). In the iOS app from the Up Next list, when I long press it and get a popup which has "Mark All Episodes as Watched". Same thing in the Apple TV. Notably, I don't get the Mark Episode as Watched menu item.

I did NOT get this menu item for NCIS: New Orleans. I suppose it's possible that I had watched one episode of NCIS: NO from the channel, so I guess maybe there is some (poor) logic in there that says if you've watched at least one episode of a series then you can only mark each individual episode. That is a terrible choice if that's the case.

That's a great analysis, and that definitely could be the case here. To help isolate this even further, we ask that continue to monitor this feature with other shows, and with other service providers as well. We know the community would love to hear more about your findings, as it may be helpful to others.

In the meantime, we do recommend that you utilize the Apple Product Feedback website. That way, at least the proper team would be made aware of this on the backend.

Then how do you explain a menu item that does sometimes appear allowing you to mark all episodes as watched? I did that with a different series. This has also worked for many years in iTunes, so it's unclear to me why the TV app would be so badly designed as to only sometimes provide the capability.
