Can I do individual updates on I phone such as security without doing a huge upgrade??

The vulnerability affects both iOS 13 and iOS 14 according to what I've read. In order to keep your phone secure, it is always best practice to keep it updated. While I certainly agree that it's not a bad idea to wait a week or two after a major update to see how things shake out, I would recommend against waiting a year. You've missed a number of important security updates. I'd suggest updating now. Once iOS 15 is released, you won't have the option of updating to iOS 14.
I know just not ready to do it.. But it is an interesting thought that we can upgrade individually on iMac (security updates and safari updates) but not on I phone...TY
I know. But upgrading to a whole new version is not always good... Plus the security update affects the 14.O users ?? I.m still at 13.6.1 or is that not true.. I am new to I phone things are running good
The iOS 14.8 update took me less than 5 minutes this morning.
