Do any type of virus attach iphone 12?

If there is virus contained email and I mistakenly opened it then would it be possibility to attack my all apps or any data?

Can iPhones be effected by files? I was using a third-party email service on Safari and I got a strange email. When I tried to delete it, it tried to download the attached file that probably had a virus. Is there a way to check if I have a virus? I have an iPhone 13 mini with iOS 16.1.1. The files app does not have any strange files and I was using cPanel’s (cPanel is a website editor) Webmail via Roundcube. Both are perfectly trustworthy, but the email was not. Email and virus I tried to delete a suspicious email and accidentally opened it. It has now disappeared and I’m worried it’s a virus. I don’t want to open any apps like my banking one. How can I tell if my phone has been infected by a virus? I didn’t download or respond to it in anyway, simply went back to my inbox to delete it and it was gone.

No, your phone can't get a virus unless it is jailbroken.
