While updating an older iPhone 8 I lost cellular service while updating. Stuck on what I should do???
It has already been backed up to iCloud as well this morning. Thank you so much for helping me out! Not an Apple store close to me, ugg!

Try removing the SIM card, and inserting it again: link-> Remove or switch the SIM card in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
If that does not work, try restarting the iPhone: link-> Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
Then the next step is to contact your carrier, and make sure your plan is active and working.
Beyond that, you would need to take the iPhone to an Apple Store or Authorized service provider to get it looked at. Get hardware help - Apple Support
The update cannot be downloaded over cellular at all, it requires Wi-Fi. So connect to a Wi-fi network to complete the download.
If something else is wrong, please explain what that is.
I have wifi and it still works just not the cellular service. The download was compleated, that's when it happened. I can message and browse as well, just no cell service?

As figures, I was waiting for the newest iphone to come out prior to purchasing it. I had a 12 but it was lost out of state, I did disable it though.
