macbook air 2013 microsdxc card

I have a MacBook Air 13" 2013. I also have a SanDisk microSDXC card I would like to view on this MacBook. There is no slot for it. How can I view pics and videos stored on card on this computer? Also, how can I transfer pics and videos from the computer to that SD card once I know where to put it?

An external card adapter that uses a port would be OK.

Should you need another type card, that may also

use an Adapter of different sort..

(No telling which type of files ~ may require what software.)
