duolingo - no access to the App from my icloud account - problem Apple credentials

I can not login anymore on my Duolingo App with my icloud account, I can yes access it through the icloud account of my husband. Tried everything (removing and reinstalling app several times, creating a new account…) nothing works. At Duolingo they suggest now I have a problem with Apple credentials but a) I really don’t know what that means and b) don’t know how to solve this. I never had any problem whatsoever with my icloud account. I have the latest IOS.

Hello Michelle, thanks a lot for your reply. Unfortunately, this app doesn’t allow to sign in with Apple. I already tried to sign in with the Apple-ID of my husband, but that doesn’t work either. Yesterday, after my post, Duolingo replied through twitter that when they refer to Apple credentials, it has nothing to do with Apple but everything with their program (very confusing!). They now acknowledge there is a bug and they release a fix for it. Regards, Brigitte
