Updated from 11.0.1 to 11.5.2 and my drive is now called Macintosh HD - Data

Hi,

As you can see when I look on disk utility I also have Macintosh HD - Data Data.

I understand the Macintosh HD - Data is system folder and Macintosh HD - Data Data is where all my files are stored.

Can I rename Macintosh HD - Data "in finder" to Macintosh HD

And rename Macintosh HD - Data Data "in disk utility" Macintosh HD - Data

Im worried it might not reboot if I do this.

Better live things how they are in Dik Utility. Just change your HD's name into the Finder. Mac OS will do the rest, if and where needed. (mine has been changed to "com.apple.os.update.5d... ecc ecc" in Disk Utility. No problem.

You installed onto your old Data volume. Just Remain Macintosh HD - Data to something else. "Macintosh HD" for instance.

That should also rename the Data volume.
