iBooks won’t let me buy things

I am reading a series of books and after several purchases over a week or two, iBooks has stopped letting me buy the next one in the series. I hit the buy button, double click the side button and then nothing happens. My payment method is fine, available memory fine, latest version of iOS downloaded. I am at a loss.

Books store not opening My previously downloaded books seem to have vanished, when I go to my profile it literally shows 0 purchased. I have tried signing in and out of my Apple ID but to no avail. Also the books store only shows user manuals and a handful of books with no covers. Its the same thing on my iPhone and MacBook as well, all updated. Please any help will be greatly appreciated.

Item in Library not accessible I have Game of Thrones in my library. If I try to open it, I get a message; 'Purchase of this item is not currently available. The item is being modified. Please try again later.' This is the same message as three months ago. Any advice?

Apple Books won't allow me to look at new books. I am trying to purchase a book from bookbub on Apple Books and it will not do to the book page. It states "Sorry something happened try again."
