Dictation Failed

I was receiving this message on my apple watch when trying to respond to a text: dictation failed apple watch unable to take dictation. I made sure that all my settings were correct. I unpaired and paired it again. The apple representative did a diagnostic test. Nothing worked. I finally made an appointment with Best Buy and the representative cleaned the microphone port and dictation starting working again. I hope this helps for someone who’s having the same issue.
