Is there less risk for damage if my iPhone is in a tank bag on my motorcycle? Or in my jacket pocket? We riders depend on our phones for navigation, answering calls, and communicating with each other (e.g., Packtalk helmet com units). I have a 2022 Ducati SuperSport S 950.

Nobody is going to be able to provide a definitive answer. However, out of all of the options that you've provided, I would think that a jacket pocket would be best. In that situation the phone would be somewhat isolated from the vibration.

Thanks that’s an easy enough fix. All bikes vibrate, some a lot (eg Harleys). I haven’t heard if this problem affects other phones or just iPhones.
