Battery won't hold charge on MacBook Pro

My battery was at 80% when I went to bed, but when I got to class in the morning, I had a dead battery. What am I doing wrong?

First thing to check will be the charger, and the charger connection, and ensure the Mac is connected and charging. Second is what apps might be running, and running in the background. Activity Monitor app can usually provide some clues about what might be running, consuming power.
