You seem to have acquired an iPhone with a bad Apple battery, or an iPhone with a third-party replacement battery and one that doesn’t quite work as Apple expects an iPhone battery to work.

Whether you want to continue to use this iPhone, or return it to the seller for a refund if the seller is still available?

It’ll probably work fine and for as long as that battery lasts, though lacking the guidance provided by the battery health circuitry.

Which means you’ll need to watch how long the battery runs per charge, watching when that shortens to where an additional charge is needed during your normal usage.

If this iPhone was a new purchase from Apple and has never been repaired, check with Apple support. Use the Get Support link in the upper right of this webpage. If this was purchased elsewhere and/or has been repaired, the battery is suspect.

As was pointed out previously, you can continue to use the phone even with shortened battery life. However you clearly obtained a used iPhone that was not in optimal condition. There is usually a reason people are getting rid of their used phones. Replacing the battery with a genuine Apple battery may make it work the way you expect. But the "freezes" are not a good sign.

Your battery went from 100% to close to zero between 6am and 3pm, that seems like not acceptable performance in my view, with normal use a phone should last at least a full day. So I would start with the battery replacement. Your Battery Health setting indicates "Service" which seems indicative that the battery needs to be replaced. If the freezes continue, that could be a sign of hardware damage which might mean a different kind of service.
