Signing out of Apple mail from another device

im trying to figure out how to sign out of my Apple email from another device. The device I want to sign out doesn’t have access to my Apple account in general. I tried signing myself out of my own Apple account to see if it would automatically sign me of my Apple mail. It turned out to be a big fat no. So how do I sign devices off of my Apple email if I don’t have the device with me?

I do not know why you want to do that. However, If you're using iCloud and Find My [device] on the device, sign in to iCloud.com/find or the Find My app on another device, select the device, and click Erase. After the device has been erased, click Remove from Account. This will turn off Find My.

My recommendation is a big NO if you have lost your device.

If you remove the device from your account after you erase it, Activation Lock will be turned off. This allows another person to turn on and use your device.
