Screen damage

Hello, I bought an iPhone X, 2 months back. It unfortunately fell from my bed and hit the floor with the top left corner and developed a black patch that looks like an ink spill/stain. The patch covers upto the first 2 clock digits. My question is what will happen with time, will the ink like spill eventually wear off or ts now a permanent damage? And is there likelihood of the spill spreading further and covering a greater part of the screen?

It will not get any better

You should arrange a service or repair

https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service

Anything other than Screen or Battery may be a replacement phone and the price is in the article.

If not covered by warranty and you don't have AppleCare+, you may have to pay full replacement cost for severe damage

You can see additional service information within the following article:

Ad iphone X have not been made for some time they will not repair it if it has third party repair history.
