Apple Watch 4 - display brightness problem

I have a problem with the Apple Watch 4 display which at least once a day becomes full bright and this status is frozen. If that situation is not spotted, the battery is unladen after 30-40 minutes. The uploaded software is the latest. Rebooting system doesn’t work too.

Does anyone know how to deal with that?

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like you're having problems with your Apple Watch display and battery & we're happy to help!

If you haven't already done so, follow the steps below, then check to see if the problems are still there after each one:

  1. Back up iPhoneUpdate iOS on iPhone and Update Apple Watch software
  2. Restart Apple Watch and Restart iPhone
  3. Unpair and erase your Apple Watch, then Set up your Apple Watch as new.

Let us know if this helps.

Take care.

Thank you for your help. I did all sugested steps and for a while it seemed to be remedy for my problem. Unfortunately, after 2 days the problem reappeared. The screen becomes very bright and isn’t switch off when hand is down. I need to reboot the device to recover this functionality (screen on&off).
