Hi there tlasek,

From what we can tell, your iPhone isn't working as expected after changing the SIM card. We're glad you've connected with us here in Apple Support Communities, and we'd like to learn more to see how we can help.

To begin, did you follow the steps in the link below to change your SIM card?

Remove or switch the SIM card in your iPhone or iPad

Next, what's not working on your iPhone exactly? Are you seeing an alert about the SIM card? If so, check to see if the steps in this support article help:

If you see 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad

If you're not seeing an alert related to the SIM card, are you seeing No Service or Searching in the status bar of your iPhone for your cellular network connection? If so, work through the suggested steps here:

If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad

If the information we've provided above doesn't seem to be relevant or helpful, please respond with a detailed description clarifying exactly what's going on with your iPhone. We'll take a closer look from there.

Cheers.

I don't know what you don't get. I changed my sim card as per credo's request multiple multiple times. Now I cannot make a phone call. doesn't go throught. my fun doesn't work. it worked fine with the old sim card. I have lost the old sim card. the new sim card is in. when i try to make a phone call i get a message that i need to purchase some sort of calling card . i am unable to reach credo because my phone doesn't work. no your answer neither helped me or fixed my problem. this is three days with no phone service. what would you like me to do; I am happy to buy a new phone and new service but i would like to keep my phone number. How would you all like to go three days without a phone... when you have a job a need your phone for communication with family in different states. Just tell where I can get a new phone and service that works pronto. I am done with credo after about 8 years of decent service. please help. i don't want a fancy phone but i like my iphone. it needs to fit in my pocket so none of those dumb huge phones please.

Thank you.
