Unable to retrieve credentials for authorising user. (Migration Assistant)

The Issue:

When using Migration Assistant on my work's apple silicon m1 macbook air, I get the error 'Unable to retrieve credentials for authorising user.'

The Fix (workaround, because the other posts are locked):

The workaround is, simply wait with the error on the screen for about 5 minutes, and then migration assistant works. Easy.
