Activating personal iPhone 13 using esim on ROgers

Can I stop using a nano sim on my new iPhone 13 and just active the sim on a personal Rogers account?

As a long time (20 year) Rogers customer i have found that they move very slowly regarding new technologies. It took a year for Rogers to allow activation of the eSim on Apple Watches. My question was intended to be more technical than a marketing question. I appreciate and thank you for the logic of your reply, but as noted above I have low expectations about Rogers permitting this innovation on iPhones. Possibly, like Apple Watch, it will take a year of watching costomers move to Bell before Rogers will permit this.
