When you delete photos, they go to a folder called Recently Deleted. They stay there for 30 days to give you the opportunity to restore them. If they were deleted longer than 30 days ago, they're gone.


If you sync photos with iCloud, when you delete photos they delete everywhere you sync with iCloud. Go to Settings > Your Name, iCloud, etc. Tap iCloud. Are photos turned on? If yes, check the recently deleted folder in the Photos app. If they aren't their, your photos are gone.


If photos are not turned in iCloud and you have a backup you made from before you deleted photos, you can restore your phone from that backup. But content you added to the phone since the date of the backup will be gone.
