My siri remote 2nd generation wont pair with apple tv HD

Is your Apple TV box updated to tvOS 14.5 or later? That is a requirement for this remote.

Else try: If your Apple TV remote isn't working - Apple Support.

Also charge the battery for half an hour to ensure that enough power is available to the remote.
