“USPS”phishing email cc’d to only @me.com apple addresses

I received an email supposedly from USPS indicating they need an update on my address and rather than send it to hundreds of people BCC, they CCed everyone. All of the addresses were @me.com addresses. Does anyone know if this old apple email address is at risk? It’s odd.

As far as spam email goes, I don't think you have any concerns. Eventually any email address will likely get known to a wider group of people, including spammers. As long as you don't fall for the phishing then getting spam is just part of life. I don't know if Apple has filters on its accounts you can set but my email provider has very effective filters and I see about one spam email per week on an address that's been known to spammers for over 25 years now.
