New iphone

I am preordering the new iphone 13 and 3 of them and it says i won’t be able to get it until october. is there any reason why i won’t be able to get it september 24?

I would guess that Apple is swamped with pre-orders! And there is the issue of a shortage of computer chips. Could be worse, November, December!
