iTunes scam

my wife was charged $900 for “12 TB iCloud Space This was unsolicited. She did not order this service and the number to call to cancel or for help is not the regular Apple Help number regular help number. Scam?

Was she actually charged or just told she had been? As to charge her they would have to have hacked her bank account it's more likely that the purpose of the scam is to get you to panic and ring that number, which will either connect you to an exetremely expensive line, or to someone who will try to talk you into giving them your bank details so that they can 'reverse' the non-existent charge.
