Hi, i accodentally out my other device phone number on my new ipad when I registered a new iCloud account. I want to remove it but when I enrered new phone number (sim already in ipad), I was unable to retrieve verification code for this number? What should I do?

Contact Apple Support
Contact Apple Support, asking them to modify the number to what it should be, it over-the-phone. Important: Attempt a trial login session while still on the phone with the Apple Rep, just to be certain that all is showing as it should.

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. And that makes sense because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
