I tried to do my software update and it too me to the support.apple.com/iphone/restore but i don't have a usb cord to fix it. Can you help?

Your iPhone came with a USB-C to Lightning cable. If your computer has a USB-C port then you can use that cable to connect your iPhone to it. If your computer does not have a USB-C port but has the standard USB port(s) then you can use the Lightning to USB cable that came with previous models of the iPhone. If you have that cable in the house then you can use it.
