Lost Iphone 12pro max

Lost my iphone 2 weeks ago, i did locked it and put under lost mode. Just today, i found the location on “findmyiphone” it was on Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. I didn’t erase the device yet so please adviced me on what to do, are they able to access on my info even though there’s passcode on my iphone? Is there away to reset it without a passcode? I locked it to prevent others from using. I know that apple has high security. Thank you!
