Hi, quick question? Would Apple do out of policy exchange? Somebody purchased me a new iMac in June 2021 but did not give it to me till mid August. My son does not like the blue color it’s basically never been used will there be any way possible to exchange it for a silver one? I own nothing but Apple products. Hopefully for a loyal customer I thought. No one seems to care in Apple to offer me some sort of option. The iMac 2021 is in original box w/ all original.

Not possible unfortunately. Try eBay or other private sale. Or maybe offer your son some $$$ in the form of accessories. Good luck!
Why not possible?? Apple does not have any compassion? So Apple does not have a support team for escalations ...for executive complaints? The 20 year old kid in the Apple Store can not be the only say.
I know it is 14 days. That is why I was asking out of the 14 day return/exchange as an exception to the policy.
I'd sold this 4 times on eBay each time it was sold ....It was a hijacked eBay account.

My old mother used to say “never look a gift horse in the mouth”. He’ll get used to it, especially when it’s placed next to a wall.
You can buy skins to "recolor" the iMac, but that seems a bit extreme for a free, state of the art computer. I bought my daughter a car once as a gift ... green. Not her favorite color and I heard about it too. Thing is, it ran fine, got good mileage, insurance was reasonable and it was very dependable. My child got used to her car rather quickly; yours will do the same.
