Netflix stops playing after about a minute

I put Netflix on my iPhone to sleep (screen off) and lately whatever I’m listening to stops playing within about 60 seconds (it doesn’t give the symbol for paused, but it stops playing) and won’t play unless I skip ahead or back and then it’s fine for the rest of the show
