iPhone display brightness stuck

Noticed that when the iPhone is hot, the display brightness is automatically adjusted not to reach higher than 50%, is that right?

Hello,

Yes, that would make sense to keep the temperature down. See this:

Ok I have a iPhone XR and display brightness changes by itself,but I have it turned off so it doesn’t but it still does! XR Brightness issue I use my iPhone for work while driving and the brightness dims sometimes when I need it most. The brightness control doesn’t do anything, it shows that it’s as bright as it can be. How can I keep the display bright?
