Fixed wifi or update my software from apples end

I love can’t connect to wifi. I can’t even turn it on to start with. So without wifi my phone cannot backed up and cannot be updated to the latest software. And would not allow me to stream more videos faster. Please help me fix this problem or if apple can update my software for me on their end that will be osome?
