iPhone 11 display is photo negative

I dropped my iPhone 11 in water (less than 1 second), retrieved it, cleaned/wiped it off and it was working fine. About 12 hours later, the display suddenly changed to look like an x-ray or photo negative (it has color, but they're dim and reversed). I saw there are some settings to change, which I was able to do - but the problem persists. I now have the phone off, have removed the case & it is in a desiccant environment (well, rice!).

What else can I try?

Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options. Your phone is water damaged and it has clearly negatively effected the screen. Water damage can't be fixed. The entire phone will likely need to replaced. If you have a valid AppleCare+ plan you purchased when you bought the phone a replacement phone will be very reasonably priced. If you didn't purchase AppleCare+ you can expect to pay about 60% of the cost of the phone when it was new.

Ps: A desiccant doesn't really help with electronics. If water got inside the phone, it destroys electronic parts.
