Check your web browser's autofill entries, or use Apple's iForgot service, or contact their Account Security team.

If you've encountered the activation lock and are the unit's original owner, you can instead submit an unlock request as described in the Related Article above, but this won't grant access to anything else associated with that Apple ID.
