Does your Samsung TV natively support AirPlay? If so, you can wirelessly mirror your iPad screen to your TV:

Otherwise, you can connect your iPhone/iPad using an appropriate adapter and HDMI cable. Your iPhone - and potentially your iPad - will have a Lightning connector. You simply need an Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter and a good quality HDMI cable:
