iPad supporting WhatsApp?

Does any iPad models support WhatsApp and can be used as in the iPhone? Especially the new iPad Mini 6? Thanks!

The WhatApp developers have not [yet] released an App compatible with iPad - the App being currently limited to iPhone.

Whilst the App is not available for iPad - you should be able to access the service from any device, including iPad, using a web browser:

The WhatsApp app requires an iPhone.

Additionally, no ipad model can be used as an iPhone as no iPad model is capable of connecting to any cellular service providers voice telephone network.

An iPad is not a cellular telephone and thus can only use the functions of a cellular telephone (SMS/MMS texts, cellular telephone voice calls) when it is paired (via iOS/iPadOS Continuity) with an iPhone.
